This very, very large fireplace was practically a room of its own.  Our design incorporated a combination of materials to maintain its beautiful natural style, and a high-efficiency gas fireplace for easy-to-use, smoke-free heat.  Top image: the finished fireplace. This old gas insert was style-dated and rarely used. Working with Darek Palubinski of D Decor Interior Design, we helped make his beautiful vision become reality for this client. The new gas insert invokes the serenity of a relaxing spa, with rocks surrounding a comforting fire. And the new stonework and mantle extend the focal point of the fireplace to encompass the full height of the room. Coupled with Darek’s beautiful design changes, this room says Wow!

A fireplace was just what this living room needed.
