Get $500 – $3000 in Instant Rebates!
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), with support from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Energy Resources, launches the 2018 Wood Stove Change-Out Program on March 23, 2018. The program offers financial incentives to assist Massachusetts residents in replacing non-EPA-certified wood stoves with cleaner, more efficient wood or pellet stoves. Last year, our customers received nearly $100,000 in instant rebates from this program, through a similar 4-month program that was launched at Enchanted Fireside in March 2017.
Old, non-EPA certified wood stoves are those legally manufactured before July 1, 1988 (when EPA began to require certification). Many of these stoves have metal, not glass doors.
